Cook Our Steaks

Hunter Cattle steaks can be cooked a variety of ways and knowing the proper technique can make all the difference! Make sure to thaw your steaks to room temperature before starting for the best experience! See below for our recommended cooking methods.
On the Grill

Ingredients:

– Hunter Cattle Grassfed Steak

– Sea Salt or other Natural Salts

– Pepper

Thaw your steak to room temperature and sprinkle with salt and pepper. While your meat is thawing out prepare your grill and get it nice and hot. Sear your steak on both sides, turn your grill down and cook until your meat is at desired temp.

Always remember: Do not overcook grassfed beef as it is leaner than conventional beef and will cook much faster.

On the Stovetop

Ingredients:

– Hunter Cattle Grassfed Steak

– Grassfed Butter

– Coconut Oil

– Seasonings of your choice

Combine butter and coconut oil in the pan. Get the pan very hot so when you sear the beef it will trap in the moisture. Sprinkle seasonings of your choice on the meat and sear both sides in hot butter and coconut oil. After you sear it, turn the heat down to medium and cook until steaks are done. (It won’t take long!)

Under the Broiler

Ingredients:

– Hunter Cattle Grassfed Steak

– Seasonings of your choice

Turn broiler on high. Place meat on broiler pan and season. Place under broiler about 4 inches from heat. Cook for 6 minutes. Use tongs and flip steak over. Cook for 4-6 more minutes. Serve and enjoy!
